Every other FPL tool tells you who to pick next. PointsLeak looks back at what your captain picks, bench calls, −4 hits, transfers and chips already cost you, in official points, and shows which are habits you can fix before the next deadline.

FAQ
Questions
Is the report really free?
Yes. No account, no email and no FPL password needed. We only read your team's public history.
Isn't "points lost" just hindsight? Some of it is bad luck.
Yes, and the report says so. Every figure uses points that were only known after the matches. That's why we split it into avoidable patterns (hits that didn't pay back, bench mistakes repeated in 3+ gameweeks, starters who didn't play) and hindsight and luck (captain vs. the top scorer in your XI, transfers that underperformed, chip timing). Good decisions sometimes lose points, so look for patterns that repeat, not single weeks.
How is "points lost" calculated?
With the official points each player scored. Bench: the best legal formation from your own 15 vs. the XI that played (after auto-subs). Captaincy: your captain vs. the top scorer in your XI that week, and vs. the most-captained player. Transfers and hits: points of the players bought vs. sold over the next 3 gameweeks. Chips: the week you played them vs. your best week for that chip.
I leave loads of points on the bench every week. Is that normal?
Some bench points are unavoidable: your bench players play too. The report doesn't count raw bench totals. It compares the XI you picked with the best legal XI from your own 15 and tells you whether the gap repeats week after week (a habit) or only happened once or twice (variance).
Do I need my FPL password? Is my team ID safe to share?
Never give your FPL password to any tool. We only need your team ID, which shows the same public information anyone can see on FPL. It can't be used to log in or change your team. How to find your team ID.
Why does my current gameweek not show?
We only use gameweeks that FPL has marked as finished, so the numbers don't change under you during live matches.
The data is free on the FPL site. Why would I pay?
You don't have to: the report is free. The Weekly Plan is for managers who want a second opinion on their own team before each deadline (transfers, captain, chips), focused on the leaks the report found. If you'd rather decide everything yourself, the free report is all you need.
Weekly Plan or Season Pass: what's the difference?
Same service. The Weekly Plan is £4.99 a month and renews until you cancel. The Season Pass is a single £19.99 payment that covers every remaining gameweek of 2026/27 (until the final gameweek in May 2027) and never renews. Both come with a full refund if you ask within 14 days.
Is the advice automated?
The report is fully automatic. The paid plan is in early access: we prepare the first plans ourselves from your team and the report, and email them before each deadline.
Is PointsLeak part of the Premier League or FPL?
No. PointsLeak is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the Premier League or Fantasy Premier League. It reads the public data the FPL website shows for every team.
Can I cancel? Can I get a refund?
Weekly Plan: cancel anytime, yourself, in the subscription portal (log in with the email you paid with), or email us and we'll cancel immediately. Season Pass: there's nothing to cancel, it doesn't renew. For either, if you're not happy within 14 days of paying, email us for a full refund. Payments are processed securely by Stripe.
